Classical musicians are now being sought for the Montpelier Arts Center Recital Competition!  Winners will be featured in a recital in the Main Gallery during the September 2019-May 2020 season.

Musicians must be 18 & older to be considered. There are no geographical restrictions, but winners are responsible for their own transportation. 


  • All entries must be submitted online at https://montpelierartscenter.submittable.com/ by Sunday, March 31, 2019 at 11:59 pm.
  • Ten-minute selection of music that best identifies your repertoire and technique. 
  • Musician(s) biography. 
  • Headshot(s) that is appropriate for print (at least 8" x 10" and 300 dpi resolution). 
  • Current one-page resume with contact information for each participating musician

The honorarium is $400 per performance.   If applicable, accompanists will receive a $200 honorarium. 

There is no entry fee for this competition.
